    We will open för 45 runners in the public regitration and the race directors will have five spots for specially invited runners.

    The fee for the competition is 7 500 SEK.

    At registration you will pay a registration fee of 1500 SEK which is not refundeable, except if the race is cancelled by the organisers. The rest of the fee, 6000 SEK, is due on June 28 2024, an invoice will be issued to the runners.

    Until July 31 2024 it is possible to tranfer the place to another runnner, after that we will not change the starting list. After you have paid the total fee you have the right to get 50% back if you have a medical certificate.

    Regarding Covid-19: If the race is cancelled due to restrictions from the goverment there will be a full payback of the fee. The same apply if there are travelling restrictions from any other contry which prevents you from travelling here.

  • The track is about 675 meter and made of gravel. It is mostley flat but there are some hight differences. The track has a lot of turns and we will not change directions during the race.

    There is some lights during the night and most of the runners who has been here choose to run without a headlight. However, we do recommend that you bring a headlight just in case.

    “From the start the inner courtyard with the depot will be passed after which the old barn from the 19:th century will be rounded. The track continues to the Pernilla-hill, a three meter long slope which takes the runners to an open area woth views over the fields. After the sheep garden you are at the highest point of the course and it is time for a long downhill with a view of Hallandsåsens southern slope. Maybe the little grove will offer som shade and wind protection before passing the cultivation beds. The course continues in a S-shape down the field before turning back up next to the restrooms and the back of the Runners’ barn. A turn around the old hen house and pass the living house takes you back to the courtyard.

  • We have three different accomodations – the Runners’ barn, camper and tent.

    The Runners´ barn: an own semiprivate booth with a bed, quilt/pillow and bed linen. Every booth has access to electricy for charging phones etc. One supportperson is allowed to sleep on the floor on an own mattress. (20 booths)

    Camper: Parking your own camper alongside the course with access to electricity. (8 spots)

    Tent: Spots next to or close to the course. All spots have electricity.

    You will be asked to rank your preferred accommodation at registration. Allocation of accomodation will be done in the order the registrations are done and we have a queue to the popular choices.

  • All runners have access to our restrooms with showers. The restrooms are in direct access from the course.

    Nex to to the restrooms you have an area with a roof where you can hang wet towels or clothes. Every runner gets a small basket in which you can store your toilet bag etc. We will put a small towel in your basket for your private use and we will change it for you on a daily basis.

    We have vacuum toilets which means that it is absolutely forbidden to put anything but what comes from your body and toiletpaper in the toilet. If you are using wet vipes they must be thrown in the dust-bin. The same applies to tampons etc.

    All showers have schampoo, conditioner and soap for your use.

    We have additional toilet-booths right after the depot area. These can also be used by our audience.

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the registration fee. Lunch and dinner will be delivered by the nearby restaurant Ellis in Förslöv (www.restaurangellis.se). The meny will be presented later but we can guarantee very well cooked and delicious food. We will of course take count of allergies and have a vegan alternative.

    Except for the three meals we will always make sure you have access to fruit, vegetables, sandwiches, vegetable broth, candy, cookies and different kind of hot and cold drinks.

    We have special fridges and freezer for the runners to use. We do not recommend that you use your own cooler boxes.

    Microwave, stove and kettle is available for all runners and helpers. Do not use your own kettles since the strain on the electrical system can be too high. The officials in the depot will help you.

  • On Saturday after the race there will be an after-race dinner. The medal cermony will be performed during the dinner.

  • We welcome support persons of the runners to the race. If you live togehter in a tent or caravan it is possible to bring one person without any extra charge. Your support will have access to the restrooms and other areas at the farm (it can be different persons on different days as long as it is only one person at the time). The same applies in the runners´ barn where you can take turns using the bed or have an own matress on the floor.

    All persons on your team can by a foodcard which includes all meals and gives full access to the depot. Again, if you have different persons helping you on different days it is possible for them to share a foodcard. Not that it is not allowed for different helpers to use the card on the same day. The card shall be visible when the support is at the depot.

    Foodcard: 2000 SEK/six days

    You are only allowed to get energy, clothes etc handed to you from your support person on the courtyard. If you have a caravan or tent it is allowed to receive things there. The support person may not run between the courtyard and your caravan/tent so you can get help two times during one lap. One place per lap.

    In the courtyard the support person can follow the runner but not anywhere else on the course. At the caravans/tents the support person must stand still while handing over things to the runner.

  • We want you to feel safe and taken care of at our race. If you do not have an own support we want you to report to the officals at the depot when you take a longer break. If you are away from the course and we do not have been told that you are on a break we might come and look for you! This is for your saftey.

    Any other help like mixing sport drinks, getting personal things from your bags och wake-up calls will not be provided

  • We will have elecronic timing with Race results. All runners will have a chip around the ankle. It is the runners responsiblitiy to always wear the chip and any loops without the chip will not be a recorded or added. When you are resting you might want to put the chip in your shoe to make sure you do not forget it. Please note that the chip is to be worn outside your clothes and around your ankle. If you are aiming for a national or international record you should let the race directors know in advance and we will provide you with two chips.

    There will be a live update during the race.

    We will also have live shows from the race. More information will come later on our Facebook page.

  • The officials will go to the grocery store once a day. It is possible to make smaller orders and have them delivered. We will only buy things available in the local store. There will be no purchase of any medication.

    It is also possible for support to come along to the store. We want to make it easier for the runners and also reduce the amount of private supplies which might be thrown away after the race. Payment will be done by swish (swedish payment system) or cash for foreign runners.

  • We will have hand sanitizer at the restrooms, at the depot and at the entrance to the runners’ barn. Only officials will have access to the kithcen and they will help you if you need anything.

    The restrooms will be cleaned several times a day.

  • We do not have any regular healthcare at the race. Runners are refered to the public health system. Foreign runners should bring documentation regarding insurance etc to have in contact with swedish healthcare.

    There will always be staff with knowledge of first aid at the race. We also have a defibrillator at the depot.

  • Doping control may be permormed. Runners who are aiming for records which demands doping control should contact the race directors in advance.

  • We recommend public transportation since we have limited parking spaces. We will provide free pickup at the train stations in Ängelholm, Båstad and Förslöv and from the airport in Ängelholm. If you want to be picked up you have to let us know at least one week in advance. Please avoid pick up times after 9pm or close to the start.

    Train

    Förslöv station: 6 minutes from Viadal (local pågatåg Halmstad-Ängelholm-Helsingborg)

    Ängelholm and Båstad station: 20 minutes from Viadal (Öresundstågen Copenhagen-Gothenburg and local pågatågen)

    Flight

    Ängelholms airport (mostly domestic flights): 12 minutes from Viadal

    Copenhagen airport (Denmark): Get on the train to Gothenburg directly at the airport, get off at Ängelholm or Båstad train station.

    International flights: We recommend that you fly to Copenhagen since it will be the easiest transfer for you. It is possible to fly to i.e Stockholm and from there take a domestic flight to Ängelholm airport.

    Car

    From highway E6: Exit #37 Hjärnarp, follow road 105 towards Torekov/Förslöv. After passing under the railway and getting it on your right hand side, take a left turn at the sign ”Vejbystrand 4”. Do not turn in any of the roundabouts that you are passing on the way. Follow the signs towards Vejbystrand, two turns after the exit. Follow Ljungbyholmsvägen about one minute to Viadal Sport & Event. Please note that you should under no circumstances drive a car for at least 24h after the race.

  • As a member of the crew at Viadal you have an important role to make sure the race will be the way we imagine. You will have your accommodation at Viadal and of course all food is included. You will get shirts and hat from Viadal. You will also be invited to our weekend for officials where we go for sightseeing, cook food together and just enjoying ourselves.

  • Since we have limitied parking we recommened public transportations. The nearest trainstation is about 2,3 km away. It is possible to buy coffee/tea and cookies.

  • We will apply to all rules, regulations and recommendations from Swedish goverments. We will clean our toilets several times a day, have strict hygien rutins in the kitchen and do our best to have a safe enviroment.

    Everyone at the race shall be without symtoms. You need to have a plan how to leave the race in case you get sick, it is not allowed to stay at the farm longer than necessary.

  • You enter the race at your own risk. We recommend that you consult your doctor before entering the race. The race directors have the right to eliminate runners from the race due to health issues.

    It is your own responsibility to make sure that you have enough training to go through the competition. It is a challenge to run for six days and you have to be well prepared.

    We advise against any use of NSAID during the race.

  • The Swedish Athletics Association's competition rules apply in full to the competition. In addition we have the following regulations

    1. It is not allowed to leave the premices during the race. If that occurs the chip must be returned and it is not possible to continue the race. Exceptions can be made by the race directors.

    2. If you leave the track in order to go to your restingplace, the restrooms or other you have to return to the track at the exact same place. Movements outside of the track will not be included in your result.

    3. Help from your support is allowed at the yard and in direct access to your caravan/tent. Your support person is allowed to walk/run with you on the courtyard. It is not allowed to follow a runner at any other places.

    4. Unsportsmanlike behavior is not allowed.

    5. The race is held at a private property. Runners shall at all times respect the neighbours. It is absolutely forbidden to enter the neighbours properties. This also includes the fields.

    6. Littering is prohibited. Use the bins along the track.

    7. It is not allowed to use canes.

    8. Everybody has the right to use the inner track. If two or more runners walk/run together they shall leave room in the center of the track for faster runners to pass.

    9. During the night (10pm-6am) when your fellow runners are sleeping along the course, you need to show them respect and keep your voice down.

    10. If someone is breaking the rules the race directors might disqualify the runner. They may also hand out warnings.

    11. It is not allowed to hace pacers. It is not allowed forthe support or audience to follow the runners on the track. Support may walk on the opposite direction on the track.

    12. Doping is absolutely forbidden and will lead to immediate disqualification.

  • Handling of personal data

    - The personal data that we handle is submitted by you, mainly in connection with registration, as well as information that is collected during the competition, e.g. results and photos.

    - The information is processed so that the competition can be carried out and communication with you before, during and after the competition.

    - We do not release any contact lists or the like to third parties except to partners who send out offers and the like.

    -Image material is used to create marketing for Viadal Sport & Event and Viadal Ultra. The photo that runners send in themselves is used in the start list and possibly in a presentation of the runners on Viadal ultras Instagram and Facebook. During the race, there will be a photographer working on behalf of Viadal Sport & Event. These photos may be used in the marketing of Viadal Sport & Event (including Viadal Ultra) as well as in reporting on the race on social media. Other photos taken during the course by the organizers may also be published on the website or in social media. Only photos that can not be perceived as offensive or negative are used. Photos during an ultra competition can be very personal and reflect the ongoing struggle during the competition. If the competition management deems that special consent must be obtained before publication, it will take place orally.

    - We will only store your data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing of the data. Result lists are saved for the time being.

    - You have the right to, free of charge, request in writing to receive information about what personal data we have registered about you. You can at any time request the correction of incorrect information and you may also have the right to ask us to delete the personal data we have registered about you, request that the processing be restricted or object to the processing and request that we give you a copy of this personal data. If you have no basis for your request or your request is unreasonable, we have the right to refuse to attend to your request or to charge a fee that covers the administrative costs that your request entails.

    Consent to the handling of personal data is given in connection with you submitting the requested information to complete the notification. Consent can be revoked at any time. If you do not want to give your consent, please contact viadalultra@gmail.com

  • In Stallet we have tables and chairs for the runners. You can also find fridges, a freezer and bins for recycling. Stallet has one open end but keeps cool even on warm days.
